Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s Inaugural
Accelerating Analytical Development
18-19 March 2025
Industry analytical groups are facing increased pressure to deliver key studies faster than ever before—and at lower costs. Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s inaugural Accelerating Analytical Development conference at Bioprocessing Summit Europe follows the 11-year success of this theme at the Boston Summit—and offers a best-practices forum in which industry scientists and managers can exchange ideas on strategies, new technologies, and the integration of analytical methods in support of these goals. For 2025, the meeting will include increased content on the current and future applications of AI and big-data powered applications in this space, developability analysis, new platforms and workflows, and exciting new developments in automation and miniaturisation of key methods and instruments.
Coverage will include, but is not limited to:
Applications of AI and Big Data in Bioprocess Analytics
- Bench scientist impacts of data generation and curation initiatives
- In silico CQA identification and assessment
- Predictive methods and models for analytical characterisation
Automation & Miniaturisation
- Best practices for translating traditional manual methods to automated/robotic systems
- Challenges in automating sample preparation and handling
- Closed loop experimentation to facilitate ML data generation
- Qualification and validation of miniaturised assays in comparison with traditional approaches
Developability Impacts in Analytical Development
- Developability evaluations for complex biologics
- High-throughput developability analysis
- Working with “developable” leads handed off from discovery
Platforms and Workflows
- Adapting internal workflows to accommodate accelerated development timelines
- Overcoming the barriers to further adoption of MAM
- Phase-appropriate approaches to platforms and workflows
Process Analytics
- In-process analytics for cell/gene therapies and other novel biologics
- Novel sensor technologies
- Regulatory compliance with real-time analytics in GMP stage
The deadline for priority consideration is Friday 15 September
All proposals are subject to review by session chairpersons and/or the Scientific Advisory Committee to ensure the overall quality of the conference program. Additionally, as per Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s policy, a select number of vendors and consultants who provide products and services will be offered opportunities for podium presentation slots based on a variety of Corporate Sponsorships.
